I can't believe I actually listened to the whole thing.

Really not bad, and I don't like Holtz.

That was really good. Thanks for posting. I think a lot of young fans that only know Holtz as the commentator on ESPN wonder how that goofy old man was a successful football coach. This speech really shows how good of a motivator he is and how he could get the best out of who he coached.

Being from Minnesota, I experienced a lot of Holtz when he coached the Gophers. I've never seen a better motivator, or a coach with more charisma than him. Minnesotans were butt hurt when he left as he had totally turned our program around, but you can't blame him for going to Notre Dame.
