I guess I can see why people would find him "unlikeable" because of this, but some people outright hate him because he wants others to like him. Since when is that a fatal character flaw, at least as one leading to hatred? That hatred is irrational and frankly maladaptive.

I do like Lebron

But I'm curious as to what your thoughts about Lebron were the last couple years, as I assume you're a Cleveland fan

Of course. I didn't like Kobe for the first 15 years of his career. I'm sure that could change with Lebron.

Curry had an awful game last night, but he's also one of my favorite players. Also no one is labeling him as goat, or honestly will ever label him as such. Maybe best shooter of all time.

In response to the people labeling Lebron as the greatest of all time when he's barely over 30 and hasn't come close to ending his career, it's like saying the Mona Lisa was the best painting of all time before it was finished. He may very well end up being the greatest, but as of now, I don't think anyone can say that with CERTAINTY.

So the guy appreciates his team, so much so he rents a lounge and has it catered. Then, he talks to them about their families and how they are doing, spoils them with some iPhone gifts and tells the guys to stay together and some of you people hate him even more for it? He gets all the face time and credit, i like the fact that he takes the time to show his appreciation to his team. It makes other players want to play WITH him and not AGAINST him. You have to appreciate that in this day and age.

bro you have to understand it's irrational-emotional at this point

people who hate lebron have literally created a narrative in their heads that he's this arrogant, pompous person who is pure evil, basically. any slight negative thing he does will be confirmation bias of this narrative. any positive thing he does will be dismissed and spun as fake, used as an example of trickery...one again, displaying the confirmation bias that he's evil.

flopping and bitching on top of it

He got molested on the court last night by the refs. I probably would have bitched too.

He got fouled TWICE on the drive at the end of regulation and didn't bitch FWIW.

he needs to mater the art of pump faking and then diving into defenders to get foul calls, like curry

no it's a team sport. 2 teams playing, and the warriors didn't play efficiently. shumpert and delly were shockingly good defending last night

Delly gave an incredible effort on defense. He was pushing himself so hard he could barely get back on offense a couple times.

Before last night I was just rooting for a good series, but now I'm a Cavs fan because of Lebron putting this team on his shoulders and Delly's effort.

Also, Tristan Thompson is a fricking elite rebounder. They are just grinding right now.

You mean like he did last night to (I think) Draymond Green when green was jumping past him, and Lebron shoved his shoulder sideways into him, and then regained his balance and shot the ball as the whistle blew?

I realize that combatting Lebron haters is one of your goals on this board, but at least do it fairly and unbiased. What Lebron did to get that foul call was easily worse than Curry near the end of the game (JVG even bitched about it being a foul on Lebron).

I've never really cared for Lebron either way, but he's clearly the best player on the planet. And I think the Warriors will win, but if Lebron can somehow manage to pull his team to a championship this season, it would be a HUGE boost to his legacy and solidify his spot among the greats (not that he doesn't already deserve to be there mind you).

It was Igudoala who fouled him by hitting him on the back and Jackson and JVG pointed that out. It wasnt the jumping into him that go the call.
