Just like Gerhart and Ingram. Ingram sucks and doesn't even start and Gerhart is a top 10 NFL back

You don't even watch football, do you?

Ingram had a damn good year.

The Bama penis envy in this thread is pretty pathetic.

LSU fans more concerned on how Alabama players do in the NFL, than any Alabama fans.

Derrick Henry is a great college player and that is all that matters. The NFL argument is dumb. The success rate of any player in the NFL is absurdly low, even for Heisman winners.

A damn good year for Ingram, as an NFL RB?

He rushed for over 100 yards ONCE this year against the Colts, who aren't a defense juggernaut.

How often do the Saints actually run the football? He had close to 800 yards and was averaging over 4 yards per carry.

Based on being a heisman winner, 20+ carry a game type of back, and 5 years in the NFL?

In 5 seasons, Ingram has just 3000 yards. In 4 seasons Trent Richardson has about 2000 yards.

If thats not bust territory, its pretty close.

EDIT: And I'll concede the Saints LOVE to pass, but put Ingram on any other team, and you think he puts up better numbers?

Hes 11th in the league in rushing.

He hasn't been a great back, but to call him a bust is fricking asinine.

Heisman hasn't meant shite for years and Tyrann not winning it proved that. He was the best player on the best team that year.

He's 11th overall in YPC this year, right behind AP.

Hardly a "bust"

Fine, not completely a bust (based on this season then..)

Happy?

My point is that I don't think Henry does any better in the NFL than any previous Bama Saban back.

Ok.. the days of a back getting 10,000 yards is over...IMO.... I would say that he is a decent RB in the league for what the NFL needs from a back in todays pass happy game...........

He's nowhere near a "bust".

You're a clown.

Arguing that Mark Ingram is a bust not only is fricking stupid (Same with Lacy), but it does nothing to solidify the point you are trying to make.

Uh yea. Yea I do think that. Anyone with a brain knows that. Put him on any team not the pats or saints and he's in the upper echelon of NFL backs.

Ingram is an average back who likes to fumble the ball.
