Titleist 910 D3 8.5* for me. That i20 is pretty nice though. Never been a fan of the TM drivers. They almost feel too light to me. Ready for that 913

I need to direct my buddy to this thread. He'd been playing the TM R7 quad until Sunday. For the last 2 months he's had something up with his swing off the tee and literally couldn't hit driver. He was capable of hitting his 3w 280 down the middle everytime, but continued to pull his driver and spray it in every direction. On Sunday he finally snapped it over his knee. He's been talking about looking at those Cleveland Classic's the past few days. Trying to talk him into the i20. I'd love to see him show up with the limited ed. pink G20 though

I had a Rocketballz driver but had trouble with control so I gave it to my son and went back to my old TM R580. Gave up some distance but it stays in play better. I want to try the D3 but it'll have to wait.

It was more of a "Hey if you're gonna leave it in the closet, I'll use it" type thing, but what the heck let 'em have it.

My dad did, but didn't really know it; he just quit playing as much so I just kind of took over what I wanted at the time(this was when I was younger and just learning the game). Now he's asking me for my old clubs . Funny how that cycles back around.

Nah, I'll probably put the Diamana Kai'li in that driver...I'm putting the V2 in the driver I have now.

I will be rocking this shaft in my next driver!

I have a TM superfast 2.0 and I love it but it really comes down to finding the club that works for your swing.

just bought last year's model and LOVE it.. i actually increased my yardage by slowing down my swing (if that makes any sense)

G20 all day. Long, forgiving, and doesn't make an annoying sound on impact.

On a side note, I hit a 3W yesterday (with witnesses, mind you) from 290 yesterday that flew to the green and went 15 yards over on 18 at Sherwood. First time I have ever come close to that. I beat the dog shite out of that ball

It seems possible because his story appears to be so isolated.

he would be on the tour beating WEbb Simpson like a drum if he could hit a 3 wood 290. I refuse to believe anyone NOT on tour could ever do this.

False...it was a one time incident and my short game fricking blows...golf isn't just about how far you can hit the ball. Something you have yet to realize, sir.

Like someone said earlier, there's no reason to doubt you can hit it far. There are so many people off the street that can get ahold of one every once in a while. But you make it sound like you carry 290 with your 3W regularly.

Ole boy said he hit it once, like one in a million, 290. Can you blame people for bullshitting a bullshitter?

I believe Weave if he says he did it. My only question is why was he 290 out on that hole? Something happened to his drive to be that far out. There is a ditch that crosses the fairway though.

I eagled #6 at Beaver Creek last Friday. I hit 3 wood from 260 to center of green.

I don't carry my 3W 290 but I often hit it 290 total distance. IN the summers when its hot and dry i hit a few over 300 (again, not all carry).

its not that uncommon
