A most sincere apology. Yet it appears that the response was posted while my reply was still in its construction stage. At any rate, I have gained the much needed advice I was in search for. Therefore, I reluctantly offer the commonly-used and widely-accepted response of "this thread delivers".

I currently own the newer Ping G30 equipped with the upgraded Tour spec "stiff" shaft (upgraded Tour shaft is not a brag, as I am not trying to make any other posters who also play golf feel inadequate in any way). I find this particular driver has increased my distance off the tee as well as accuracy. I would highly recommend anybody considering upgrading their driver take a look and hit the G30 as it is, in my opinion, a great piece of golf equipment to carry in your golf bag. Don't let the turbulators (this Ping nomenclature for the ridges on top of the driver head and in no way my own term that other posters should not understand) scare you away from this particular driver, as I find they do actually work as an alignment aid.

Perhaps one day we will have the opportunity to play together with the hopes that I may "test drive" this club of yours (the term "test drive" refers to the act of actually borrowing the driver golf club and hitting a golf ball with it to determine its performance in relation to my own swing and in no way, shape or form refers to actually getting behind the wheel and driving a vehicle, which would be impossible as the driver golf club does not have a steering wheel).

Speaking of said driver golf club, do you know the weight of the head of your Ping G30?

Peninsula Golf and Raquet Club is a glorious place to put a round ball in a round hole by hitting it squarely.

You will enjoy those rounds of golf. Please let us know how well you played after each round, and what your score was.

Also, rate the course on a scale of 1-10.
Thanks in advance.

The Ping G30 is adjustable. However, only the loft is adjustable which makes it easier to find the setting that is best suited for you, or anyone else that reads this post. The loft is adjustable in increments of +/- 0.6° or +/- 1.0° from the standard loft setting that is stamped on the driver head. My driver has a 9° standard setting but I have adjusted it to +0.6° for a total loft of 9.6° as I have found this loft setting suitable for the optimal ball flight I am trying to achieve.

9.6 degrees of loft is odd. Methinks the engineering minds at Ping Golf are getting a little too technical for the average golf player.

Ping drivers are always higher lofted than stamped usually, it's always best for the premier advanced golfer to order a digital lofted head from the Ping Wrx department.

I look forward to perhaps one day meeting with you, or any other poster on this fine website, for a round of golf. I would be more than happy to allow you the opportunity to use my driver so you will be able to make a better informed decision on if the Ping G30 would be a suitable golf club for you to carry in your golf bag. I would also like to offer that same opportunity to any other poster that would like to try hitting my driver, as my golf clubs do not discriminate based on race, religion, or creed.

To answer your question, and any others that may have had the same question, I do not know the weight of the head of the Ping G30 driver. I am not that technical when it comes to golf as I am just an amateur, or what some people who play golf refer to as a "weekend hacker". A quick Google search would likely provide this answer for you, or anyone else. I would like to take the time to perform the Google search for you, I am however about to walk into a meeting at my place of employment.

you got it and you're welcome.

So has anyone ever hit the Graphite Design Tour AD BB shafts? I am thinking about shelling out (spending) $100's American and buying one for my new golf driver. What an equipment high that may or may not be!

The BB aka Blue Bullet would suite you well, the DI is a weak shaft and needs to be tipped a lot and I beleive the MT is in between the DI and BB. The BB is a nice low spin mid/low launch shaft on par with the Fujikura Motore Tour Spec or Aldila Rogue series which can be had cheaper.
