Yeah, scientists are trained to convey information.

Golf tards don't really know wtf they're talking about.

If you can't explain in a way that a 14 year old can understand, you really don't know what you are talking about. IMHO FWIW

I wouldn't be explaining it that way to a 14 year old. Just someone trying to fix someone else's slice

I think what he meant was if you can't put it into layman's terms, you're not a really effective teacher.

Well that couldn't be farther from the truth. It is impossible to dumb down college level physics to a 14 year old. Say I'm trying to get someone to apply what a teacher calls gamma torque to a club. I would tell a kid to feel his left wrist bow on the downswing and then show him.

Over apply it and you can get up to 1.54. That's the highest I've ever seen

I think it's pretty close to the truth. If someone knows a theory in and out, and can make it applicable, then they can in some way (analogy, demonstration, etc.) teach it in a way that someone can understand. I'm not talking about just some 14 yr old off the street, but anyone who has invested some time in improving their game.

I failed college intro physics, but that of the golf swing was explained to me in ways that made me understand it.

If you are telling a kid to bow his left wrist on the downswing and demonstrating gamma torque, and he understands it, then at that moment you put it in laymen's terms for him to understand. But what you said earlier in an onslaught of words made no sense to the non-initiated.

I was talking about the science behind it not the application before that

Is that essentially creating exponential lag speed by storing extra with the bowed wrist?
