Nice...a workable 2-iron is a great weapon if you can hit it consistently.

I had a 3 and 4 hybrid in my bag, but I put the 4 iron back in. I'd always hook my 4 hybrid (Adams).

Hybrids fly higher and land softer and are easier to hit.

Most amateurs can benefit with added forgiveness and more confidence, but try them for yourself first. Some ppl prefer irons.

By "punch" I mean to get under limbs and shape around trees. I realize "punch shot" can be hit with any club by just putting it back in stance.

I just think it's not that much different to do it with a choked down hybrid vs an iron


I carry a 3 iron and a 3 hybrid and I'll punch with either depending on the shot

My Adams came with 3,4,5 hybrid irons. I recently purchased a 6 . Taken 5-7 strokes off my score minimum.
