Golden State the most overrated team in sports history?

I say without a doubt. It was cute what they accomplished last year. But they got lucky the Cavs were decimated by injuries are they would have been the runner ups. It blows my mind when people try to compare the Warriors to the greatest dynasty ever assembled in sports history...The Chicago Bulls. In six or seven yrs we will see if the Warriors can be discussed in the same stratosphere as the Bulls. Hell GS won't make it past the Spurs this year and I can't freaking wait.

Pucker your anus. There are some on this board that take a slight against GS as a personal attack.

I do agree, in hindsight (but not so much at the time), that the Warriors very well could have lost to Cleveland in the Finals last year if the Cavs were healthy.
However, the Warriors team this season doesn't have much to do with the team they were last year. They are arguably a lot better this season.
If you're judging the Warriors dynasty, then yeah, they're not one of the greatest ones ever; simply because they aren't a dynasty yet. Give them a few more seasons.
But if you're just judging this current 2015-2016 Warriors squad, they are really freaking good. One of the top ten individual seasons in North American major sports history.

Thank you for writing all of that. I'm just going to subscribe to your opinion.

I've seen that Bob Ley picture all over TD.

It's very telling we have so many life long Golden State fans on this board!

I ripped it straight from your thread a few times. Good work. Would make a great deal with it

Nobody has claimed to be a fan, much less a life long fan. They're just recognizing that your opinion is idiotic.

Excellent handle.

Banning the OP would be the equivalent of a courtesy flush for this board.

They are very lucky to be 63-7. If they shot the ball the way they did against the Lakers every game, they could easily be 0-70 right now.

Let's all overreact and use lots of hyperbole!!!!

GSW lost to SA in 6 two years ago in the west semis. two were in OT. they were all close. GSW were missing Bogut with an injury. Lee was banged up. And they still nearly beat SA with no center to speak of.
SA were poised. GSW was not yet ready for prime time. They pissed two of the games away with last minute mistakes.

A) greatest dynasty in history of sports...lol
B) warriors are going to have a better record in a much much much stronger NBA.
