What does it even matter? He could just float in the lane and grab boards. They didn't shoot well at all. Their points all came on putbacks.

And Anderson who has been shite on lately played outstanding.

Did TigerBait1127 come in here yet and say something spectacular like 'Pelicans are only 8 plays away from being up 2-1 in this series' ?

I'm saying that if Asik is in the game, Golden State is shooting much better to begin with because they would have better looks. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think a bigger issue was Davis being exhausted when he came in the 4th quarter and he really struggled to get back in transition D.

Davis was fatigued a lot in this series. GSW was draping guys all over him when he didn't have the ball. I was hoping monty would rest him end of the 3rd into the start of the 4th.

I haven't read through this thread but anyone watching the game saw it fell apart when we replaced Holiday and Cole with Tyreke and Eric Gordon trading good defense and offense for ineffective-bad defense and offense. If Holiday wasn't on a minutes restriction they would have won the game.

I think he should have rested him for a longer period of time as well, but you need your star player to step up in the 4th and AD didn't.

And don't get me wrong, I think Monty is terrible, but what lineup could he put out there that wouldn't get criticized by everybody. Asik, Davis, Ryno, and two guards? That lineup would get freaking torched. And then if Monty took out Anderson everyone would complain that he took out the hot hand. Coaching is a pretty brutal position to be in.

They make FTs and this conversation is pointless. Like Hollins after the Grizz blew that huge lead to the clips the coach deserves blame. It's always amplified after a gigantic collapse.

Keeping anderson in the game wasn't really a mistake, not going to anderson on offense was the mistake. He was abusing Green.

They shot 80% from the line.

I definitely agree they should have gone to Anderson more. Green was playing pretty good D, but Anderson was just feeling it.

One of the biggest reasons we lost the game was rebounding down the stretch. They kept getting board after board. Should have gone with a big lineup.

I turned the game off about 3 minutes into the 4th. I just knew the Pelicans were going to lose.
