A QB on pace to throw for 3,600 yards while completing less than 57% of his passes isn't winning the MVP award in today's NFL
Not with Brady on pace to throw for almost 6,000 yards and almost 50 TDs

I don't think Cam Newton will win MVP, FWIW.
I do think he should be in discussion if he leads Carolina to 12 or more wins.

I said from the very beginning that Cam was the successor to Peyton as Best QB

With a makeshift Oline, and a WR Corp missing a good WR in lafell
FU Brady is back

quote:Well Rodgers is the best QB ever, so that answers who is more valuable.
Let's say Cam plays at his current level and takes the Panthers to the playoffs at 11-5 while Aaron Rodgers takes the Packers to a 13-3 record.
Which of the two will have accomplished more this season? Who would be considered more valuable overall to his team to have that success?
But I agree that Cam is off to a great start, and he's also vastly underrated.

You also said that Montee Ball was going to be an All Time great and Peyton would win multiple super bowls with him and if they didn't draft him Peyton should demand a trade

Nah. Bill just likes updating his emergency list
He's also worked out Terrell Pryor and Bryce Brown recently just because

I can't agree here... Great QB's make players around them better... I haven't seen that from Cam.........

Laugh all you want... What I said is true... Look at the top QB's In the league... They make players around them BETTER... Cam is ALL about CAM......
But go ahead and tell me WHO Cam has made better as a QB.
I'll wait............

I would like to think that the back-up quarterback would be able to come in and hand the ball to Eddie Lacy or James Starks, or throw the ball to Randall Cobb, Devante Adams and James Jones.
James Jones was released by the Raiders and cut by the Giants. So he shouldn't be on your above list.

Greg Olsen. what do I win?
but seriously, beyond Olsen, IDK. Maybe K.Benjamin but it's too early to tell.

When he has a season with a passer rating above 90, and a completion percentage well in the 60s, then come talk to me.
He has stayed as the exact same player since being in the NFL. He's good, not great.
