These NIL deals better be put in writing. Other than LSU, I wouldn’t trust anything these schools told me verbally.

What makes LSU any different?

Give Florida the death penalty for blatantly breaking the one fricking rule the NCAA established for NIL. If the NCAA had ANY balls this scum bag excuse of a school would not have football

Makes me wonder what DJ Lagway got as the #1 QB of his class.

Will be interesting to hear what the other schools said/promised and paid out to him. I'm sure he didn't land at UGA for nothing because he just got tired of the run around. No doubt Florida peeps will ask during the hearings.

Why would Kirby willingly take this Cancer? Did he learn nothing from Justin Fields?

can't find the article now, but there was one I read that implied there wasn't an actual contract signed. just verbal agreements and promises that didn't happen after he held up his end of the deal (by signing with FU)

I'm not a very political person, but one thing I have noticed over the last several decades, if you want to screw something up, let the government "fix" it for you.

doesn't matter what level of government, or which side is in power, same thing happens.
the end product is almost always worse than what they started with.

I don't know how anyone can ever walk into a DMV, or a post office, or a TSA screening, and come out saying "man, I wish the people running that was also running ______"

Just so we're not splitting hairs here, the laws in question were passed by Florida's house and senate, both of which are at least 70% red, then signed off on by desantis.

Unless there is a contract, I don't see how you can successfully sue Napes for that.

Aren't contracts dealing with illegal acts void? I would think this kid has no grounds to sue if he and UF was illegal.
