just saw the alert. It's a very treatable form of cancer. Still, hoping it all goes well. I just hope him resigning isn't a bad sign.

He's a good coach I'd get out of that town if I could too. Hope his health is fine and he gets a better job.

Odd time to announce it if he was diagnosed in may and is staying on until 12/31.

The statement over on the Rant said he had a PET scan on October 27th and then made the decision. It doesn't sound good and I imagine the protests and all of that didn't help the quality of his life while he tries to fight it.

Cancer is a bitch. I've heard this form is very treatable.

It'd be awesome if he was able to return to the sidelines one day and basically just threw up a huge "frick you" to Missouri.

Prayers for coach!

Probably why he backed the players. He didn't have any future authority to undermine.

I think they are last in the pecking order of hiring new coaches. Even without all the shite going down, they still would of been at the back of the pack.

Despite their recent success in the SEC East, it hasn't done much for them in terms of recruiting. Whoever comes next, it going to have to do a lot.
