also, i'd like to see statistic for just south baton rouge...i bet than would make a difference.

ACtually BR PD site has a breakdown with a map. I forget the site, but they do. As you implied there are areas that are over-represented big time with the violent crime. Anyone who watches WAFB can see that. later.

Either they don't show, don't know, or don't care about what's goin' on around SC's campus.

But we're not talking about 10 and 100.

BR has a much bigger sample size and those stats are pretty legit.

Or the USC BB guard who was murdered while visiting his hometown here in BR LA.

ryan francis was killed in nothern baton rouge, nowhere near lsu's campus. but since you want to link any murder than happens in the baton rouge area directly to the safety of lsu's campus, it should be perfectly fine for me to say that any murder than happens in the los angeles area is a direct reflection on the safety of usc's campus. right?

actually the number example comparing the 2 was less than what it really would be. BR isnt 1/10 the size of L.A., its less than that.

I did not link it to the LSU campus. Folks were talking about how BR was safer than LA, when in fact, that is far from the truth.

It was also a comment on the fact that a USC athlete was killed, not at SC or in SoCal, but, while in Baton Rouge.

I'm still disappointed it's not about Mark Sanchez and a Mexican gang threatening campus safety

Damn, give the guy a break. Its a few typos on a quick message board response, not an article. I am sure in the course of your life you will post something similar one day.

If he puts his name and title on it, I'd think the regional director if scout.com or whatever, would take the time to proof read.

bullshite. you posted that as a response to "It's not like 2 people were horribly murdered at LSU a couple years ago"

why else would you be quoting someone talking about the murders at lsu last year, and then add on someone murdered in the baton rouge area, if you did not mean to reference it to lsu?

lsu does not have any athletes from los angeles to the best of my knowledge, and has not for a while. but i dont think i would have much problem finding a tourist that was murdered in LA in the last year couple years.

In what city is LSU located?

And I bet more athletes from LSU have visited L.A. CA than SC athletes have visited BR .

You're just upset that you cannot say the BR LA is safrer than L.A. CA with any accuracy.
