Did he die? Is he now paralyzed?

Edit: watching the story now. Heartbreaking.

He is paralyzed. He will not walk again from my understanding. Can't use his arms either I don't think.

They did CPR on the field. He almost died right there.

Gus Kattengal, who hosts the Sports Hangover and was the sideline reporter, was just a few feet away and was reporting everything that was happening. He gets choked up every time he talks about it for Devon's charity.

Well done, emotional piece. Best of luck to the young man and his family.

Dude is lucky he has a good family.

I couldn't imagine if he was from some 9th ward shithole.

ETA: I had no clue he almost died on the field.

Apologizing to his mother for the trouble he's caused...... damn.... Right about that time, the allergies in the house got real bad.

God speed to him and his family.

Yep. He was on academic scholarship. Walk-on for football.
