Wow, actually I've posted in most of the playoff threads. I'm on here because I'm pulling for the Giants. It just happens to be that the Cardinals are sucking a big one.

I meant World Series., but as an Astros fan, the Cubs are no longer my concern.

I don't agree with Buck on that point. Carpenter has been far from sharp. That loopy curveball has been quite erratic. With the way Vogelsong has been pitching in the playoffs, all the Giants really needed tonight was 1 run. Carpenter looked great his first start, but now Carpenter's lack of pitching this year really is getting to him. I really do admire Carpenter, great competitor and great pitcher who deserves every accolade that no one ever seems to give him.

Yeah they were, but now they both suck arse, and for the Astros that means people don't come to games. So they had to make a business decision. For the Cubs, people will come even if they go 0-162.
