I would never believe that something like starting a game thread makes a difference in the outcome of the game.

I have to agree with you. I can't explain it but I feel like our record going in to elimination games in previous years wouldn't matter to much in an elimination game tomorow although you could make the case that since most of those games were in the previous season that a lot of these guys have been there before and can be better prepared but that's probably a little overrated.
But to speak of a no hitter during a no hitter is a proven jinx that will ruin one

Holliday had MRI on back during Sunday's game. Never seen on bench. Very uncertain for Game 7.
Something tells me his back that bothered him greatly the last month of the reg season tweaked last game, and that it's much worse than it was at any point this season.

Think Bernie Msklasz (Sp?) also reported that it was worse during the game and he doesn't see Holliday playing tonight.
Not awful imo though, Carpenter has been hitting better then him as of late and is somehow 6-6 or 7-7 against Matt Cain
