The winner the last 6 years has won the conference

3 national title appearances and two titles

Game filled with great tradition from the puntrooskie to the Bowden bowls

Premier game year in year out in college football

I don't disagree. Premiere game year in and year out? Nah.

who knows about year in, year out since so much changes from year to year. sure, that was probably hyperbole from the OP. but i wouldnt be surprised if its the biggest game of 2017

Using OP's standards, Bama/Auburn is just as big of a game.

OK, that's not what OP said though.

like other games, its a year to year basis. that game was really interesting in 2015, not so much last year. just like it was really interesting in 2011 and 2012 but not so much in 2013 and 2014

People forget, the last 3 winners of that game went on to win the SEC

Yes it has the history, but it's hardly had the meaning the last few years.

And at some point, Michigan will need to stop getting their shite pushed in.

it was literally a #2 vs #3 game last year with playoff hopes for both programs on the line with two of the best coaches in all of football. that game is back to being a huge deal

The Notre Dame USC game still is huge no matter the records. For that, it makes it "premier" game. I know people hate Notre Dame for no reason other than jealousy, but they are the straw that stirs the drink.

The SC UCLA game was a premier game, but something has happened besides the SC probation in the 80's that changed it. I am not sure what it was, as it lost it luster before Tollner got them on Probation.

The "Premier" Games to me are the following (no matter record" (not in order)

Army Navy
Iron Bowl
Michigan tOSU
Florida FSU
FSU Miami
Red River Shootout
Harvard Yale
SC UCLA
Wisconsin Minnesota

college football has moved away from the west coast. usually what happens when 2 of the three biggest programs on the coast, UCLA and UW, take a huge shite for more than a decade
