Yeah they lost their 2nd best player from the year before Horace Grant.

Wait when are you two talking?
Jordan left after 92/93 Season
The 93/94 Season Horace Grant was on roster, Kukoc was a rookie, Kerr, Armstrong, Perdue, Pippen, Paxson were all on roster as well.... In fact only changes were Jordan, Ricky Blanton, Joe Courtney, Ed Nealy, Trent Tucker, Darrell Walker and Corey Williams

88 vs Cavs Team shot 35% and Bulls won with Jordan/Pippen shooting 53%

98 Team vs Hornets:
Jordan/Pippen: 17/36 = 47%
Team: 15/44 = 34%

thanks for proving my point

I always love when knight puts his little spin on players.

"MJ is overrated. He played with all-stars Horace Grant and BJ Armstrong."

"LeBron is overrated. He played with superstar Shaq and all-stars Big Z and Mo Williams."

"Kobe is GOAT. He played with the bum Odom who is not even in the league."

2nd team all defense? Really grasping for straws. I still want to hear how Kerr was the best three point shooter ever.

in 1994 the bulls without MJ won 55 games the year after Grant left and they were 31-31 without MJ

There is a reason most of the experts pick the Heat to win it all before the season, the team has the talent, but only Wade has the desire.

Here's my problem with Lebron.

Game 4 he has a chance to win the game when he had the whole left side of the court to drive to hole and score. What does he do? Pass the ball.

Game 5 they were down 4 late and they were just needing a basket to prolong the game. What does he do? Drives to the hole and scores with ease.

I think he is absolutely scared of being the goat. In order to succeed he is going to have to know what its like to fail. It will only make him better.

They were also without Bill Paxson, Bill Cartwright, Pete Myers went from 82 games started to 14, Longley didn't start any games, Will Perdue went from 6 starts to 78, Ron Harper came on at 31 and started 53 games, Larry Krystkowiak got 14 starts......

Grasping for straws how? Grant was good enough to be the 2nd best player on 55 win team that lost in game 7 against the Eastern Conference champions.

Who said Kerr is the best 3 point shooter ever?

He drove to the basket with less than a minute left got an open 3 for Chalmers and Chalmers missed.

I would take Armstrong/Harper over Chalmers and everybody on the Bulls bench over everybody on the Heat's bench

I'm sorry, "King James, the annointed one" needs to take the game over himself and not pass the ball off to Udonis Haslem or Mario Chalmers when the game is on the line.

Winners want the ball when the game is on the line, simple as that.

I'm not a Lebron hater, I just don't think he has the "it" factor. When the game is on the line I could name roughly 10 other players I would rather have the ball. That says a lot about the MVP.

Not knocking you in particular, but I despise when people say stuff like that. It doesn't legitimize your point in any way.

It's possible to hate someone and be rational.

But when Jordan passed to Paxon or Kerr and they make it he has the it factor

I just said it because I don't have any reason to dislike the Heat. Im not a "fan" of any team in particular. I just like the game. I understand what you mean though

And I'd rather have the player who gives the team the best chance of winning... not the one most willing to take the shot. You can make the winning play without making a shot.

Disclaimer: this is not about LeBron. I just don't like the notion that someone has more balls because they took the shot.

Smart play > taking a shot

The best players are the ones that know when to do which.

Michael Jordan game winning shots: 25

Lebron James game winning shots: 5
