As a Braves fan, sure wish we would have chosen Heyward. Career WAR man.

Seeing as how awful the Braves were, particularly in the first half, I haven't kept up much with anyone outside of their organization. But holy hell, what a complete shitty year by Heyward. Had no idea.

Can't believe some of our fans liked Heyward better.

The fact that trading Heyward brought back Inciarte, Swanson, Blair and Jenkins means that swapping him was the right move.

Otherwise, I think Freddie vs Jason was probably 51-49 in Freeman's favor.

I think Freeman is better than Heyward. I can understand that some people might disagree with all their metrics and such.

Getting Miller and Jenkins, and then the haul for spinning Miller off....that's a potential franchise altering trade...so getting rid of Heyward was a good move.

The Braves made the right decision. Heywards WAR is skewed because he actually plays on good teams. Heyward is hitting .230 this year with 7 HRs at the price tag. No thanks.

That's not how WAR works. It really has nothing to do with the quality of your team.
