FOX Sports 1 waving the White flag in its battle to take down Sportscenter.

Canceling their daily highlight show FOX Sports Live. This network had so much promise to be a legitimate alternative to the Mothership but they have fallen down by wayside and conforming to "Embrace Debate." Just a shame.

Hoping it was going to be a more serious way to get my highlights without all the yucks and catchphrases, but sadly it was a bunch of 'comediens' delivering the news, or a bunch of screaming talking heads who think they're funny.

From what I read they'll keep Jay and Dan in some capacity, I thought they were ok for the most part, maybe a little too much on the comedy side though

They aren't outright cancelling it, just changing the format heavily according to that article. It even states that jay and Dan will likely have a role in the new iteration of Fox Sports Live.

They did such a good job of countering ESPN's ridiculous antics. Just kidding, their two main guys do everything in their power to sound and act like wrestling announcers.

They went with the same model as SC, which is what is sinking their ratings. How about a solid sports highlight show that goes over all the day's games and talks about them. You know, like SC used to be.
FS1 can't compete with ESPN by providing the exact same product with unknown personalities. Stupid plan.
