I know and I'm aware of the New Orleans connection that existed in the 90's. However, with the regression of Nebraska and the rise of LSU, some of the Mississippi and Texas schools, Arkansas, and the resurgence of Alabama...it;s surprising to see them still pull that many players.

Nebraska hired a coach with pretty strong Louisiana ties and they started recruiting the area pretty heavily. I don't know if he's still there.
