If he didn't reject the plea deal I'd agree with you. But he's on tape admitting to what he's accused of and still only got 60% of the maximum sentence. As someone else said hopefully he gets off for good behavior or something because 12 years for consensual seems excessive. Unless they had some kick arse piece of evidence that didn't go over as planned I don't understand what his lawyer was thinking having him reject the plea deal.
