Ranked anywhere from the 16th-28th best TE in the draft, Rutgers TE, DC Jefferson who was once a top 20 national QB recruit who decommitted from LSU and then signed with rutgers only to switch positions after his freshman year has a chance ot be drafted in the NFL this year.

I don't think it's too much of a long shot for me to be the 16th to 28th best TE in the draft and I hung up my cleats 18 years ago.

I remember his recruitment well. Les said he loved him as a QB.

Go figure.

That year we had commits from Jordan Jefferson, DC Jefferson, Darron Thomas and offered Tyler Wilson but wouldn't let him commit.

You forgot telling RG3 "thanks but no thanks, we feel you're a WR only at the next level".

fricking Les.

If we would have signed RGIII at QB, the rant would be begging Les to switch him to WR and calling him an idiot for not doing it

Pretty much every major school said the same thing, which is why he ended up at Baylor.
