I don't think anyone is saying OSU's D is better than MSU's (at least I hope not).

But you have to consider how many points were put up on those teams as well. OSU put up 40 on almost all those teams.

MSU plays great defense and plays field position, something OSU has done well for a decade before the past 2 years

It's not Ohio's fault that the teams on their schedule are garbage.

Yeah...but it's their fault looking mediocre against that garbage.

Giving up tons and tons of points to pitiful teams that can't score on anyone else - see Cal and Michigan and Northwestern - but can score on Ohio State in the 30's and 40's.

FSU hasn't had a great schedule too - not their fault - but they destroyed everyone so far.

Anyone with a brain who has actually watched tOSU this year - bleed points and look undersized and out-maned on D - can't seriously believe they deserve to play for the title or WANT to see them play for the title.

ND vs. Bama Part II - no thanks.

As far as the Big 10 has fallen in recent years it's darn near akin to Boise.

Now you are just talking out your arse.

Big 12 and ACC are on the same shittt level as the Big 10.

They are still all a lot better than the WAC.

And apparently I missed the part where Boise was putting up top 5 recruiting classes . Assuming you are comparing tOSU to Boise.

Alright, we'll play that game:

Michigan: Michigan State put up 29 and only gave up 6. Ohio State was a 2 point conversion away from losing and put up 42.

Illinois: Michigan State put up 42 and only gave up 3. Ohio State HAD to put up 60 because they gave up 35.

Indiana: Both teams put up 42.

Purdue: Doesn't matter how many points you put up in a shutout.

Iowa: Ohio State put up 34 and allowed 24. Michigan State put up 26 and allowed 14.

Northwestern: Ohio State put up 34 (don't let the "40" fool you, that was a bizarre backdoor cover) and gave up 30. Michigan State put up 30 and gave up 6

Oh, and that Nebraska game you mentioned? Michigan State put up 42 points in Lincoln.
