"He's 29"

So? Tom Brady's 39, Drew Brees' 38, A-Rod's 33 and Cam and Russell are both 28, you're seriously reaching here brah with that age bullshiit

Those teams are not part of a massive rebuild sans the Saints, but Brees is the best player in the franchises history so it's a completely different situation.

I'm not sure why you can't understand that the independent variables of the Browns situation are the main reason is why Kap doesn't fit there.

To make myself clear, Osweiler sucks. I'm not saying he's the answer, I'm saying because of the situation they are in they have a motivation to stock pile picks and suck this year.

It's plain and simple: Kap needs to be on a team at some point and how he hasn't been acquired beats me bc his resume DESTROYS that of any non-Patriots QB in the AFC East, any of the Jaguars and Texans QBs recently, and certainly the Vikings and Eagles recent QBs. What happened in Cleveland happened but Kap's obviously more capable than these fools.

Kaepernick sticks out like a sore thumb in this comparison.

He led his team to a Super Bowl didn't he? Which is more than Alex Smith, Matthew Stafford and Andrew Luck can argue.

in 2012 before anyone had any film on the guy. Defenses have adjusted and hes been nowhere near the same player since.

I wont even continue to entertain this if you think hes as good as Luck and Stafford because hes been to the superbowl

Higher passer rating than both of those quarterbacks so he has to be or else passer rating is a meaningless stat and I know you aren't willing to make such an audacious argument about that

Passer rating certainly has its flaws and any stat by itself is completely useless

Kirk cousins is higher on the all time passer rating list than Joe Montana, is Cousins better than Joe Montana? or even anywhere near as good?

But Stafford and Luck have not appeared in a Super Bowl whereas Kaepernick has so he has that leverage on them too

Completely worthless to 2017.

Is Kirk Cousins better than Joe Montana?

That's irrelevant to Kaepernick and whether he should be on an NFL team or not so I abstain from providing an answer to that

You are acting as if passer rating is the end all be all of whether someone is as good or better than another QB. I simply chose another example with the same logic and asked you if it still holds up. Thanks for proving my point tho

Luck's yards per carry is no better than Tyrod Taylor's and we all know where the Bills have reached so far, certainly not better than Kap's and Luck failed to lead his team to the Super Bowl, good try fella.

How'd I prove your point? Cousins vs. Montana wasn't even a point of contention, you're way out of your league fella bye.

i mean last year he was alright

qb rating over 90, top 25 in QBR, didnt throw interceptions, had one of the better td%, and his yards/attempt wasnt awful either

he really did a fine job last year, even if he wasnt great. he looked a guy that should start for someone, not just hold a clipboard on the sideline

Cousins vs Montana is the same argument you are making for Kap. Your claiming his passer rating alone means hes on the same level as Luck and Stafford. Passer rating alone (just like any stat alone) can have numerous faults in the logic. If you think passer rating is that fool proof and is the end all be all, then logically you must think that Cousins is better than Montana

You set the parameters of that argument, not me.
