Football Fans in UK/Europe: Best Way To Watch NFL / College Football There

I'll be in England for a couple of weeks in the midst of bowl season and NFL playoffs. Does the WatchESPN app work over there or do you have to find alternative methods to watch CF? Also what's the best UK TV channels / streaming sites for NFL?
Thanks in advance.

If you want watch espn specifically spoof your IP to a US one or use a VPN.
There´s something called gamepass in the UK which shows all the main Sunday games except for the two which play on sky sports. Check out nfluk.com for that.
Sky Sports (satellite/cable) shows two games on Sunday, they´re usually the better games but have a bias towards the NFC East.
SNF is on Channel 4 which is free to air, so if you can get a television you can watch it. Channel 4 also has a streaming service but I do not know if NFL will play on it with rights restrictions and such.
MNF is on Eurosport (satelite/cable) which just goes to show nobody gives a shite about MNF.
Don´t expect to watch SNF or MNF at a bar. They start at about 1:30am. Watching the Sunday games at a typical bar/pub may be difficult since Spanish Soccer tends to be more popular and plays at the same time, also Match of the Day, a popular soccer highlights program is on between about 10pm and Midnight and people would usually rather watch that than NFL. But a specialist sports bar or american bar would probably show the two sky sports games.
If you need any help sign up to nfluk.com and ask in the TV forum the guys there are pretty knowledgeable.
Also if you´re in Britain when the Superbowl is played, definitely go to the Superbash, its the superbowl in 1080p on a screen bigger than the average house in London. I went 3 or 4 times, they even used to give free beer.
ETA: Watching NFL in the Uk, if you´re prepared to stay up late, is usually a decent experience. When US TV cuts away to commercials, 60% of the time the British TV cuts away to local studio analysts, some of whom are pretty good.

OK well If you have an espn log on from the states. Us a VPN or hola to change your ip. Log on and watch for bowl games.
Works like a charm. You can also buy NFL game pass for the month and get everything in clear arse HD and dont have to change you IP.
Depending on where you are staying if they have Skysports you will get two NFL games and redzone. Sunday night game is show on 4E channel in HD and MNF is shown on Eurosport in HD.
If the place has ESPN UK you will get all the bowl games for sure.

I live in Netherlands and have a subscription to nfl.com game pass. I think you can purchase specifically for nfl playoff games. No need to have a VPN and games are good quality.
Eta, for college, you can buy monthly pass to espn games at espnplayer.com. It's the Europe watch espn and has the same games.

Appreciate the help. I'm just over for the holidays and will be coming back mid Jan, so it sounds like the VPN and possibly some of the streaming sites might be good. People I'm staying with have the Sky Sports package that shows the NFL games, imagine the playoffs would be included in that, no?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
