"I really apologize if I offended anybody, but if you’re offended over the nature of that type of thing, then I think you need to rethink things."

I love these types of apologies.

I do too...In effect those apologies are kinda like...

"I'm sorry if I offended you, but if i did offend you, you are a fricking idiot and you need to stop breathing my air"

How unbelievably awesome would the Rant be if Les did something like that with an Alabama jersey?

"I just wanted to feel like I could almost make it, then choke it away"?

eta: Another case of people just wanting something to be offended over. That or they're butthurt over being 0-6. I thought it was pretty funny, given who he was there with, and that he's making fun of himself.

I thought it was a funny idea but he should have avoided picking a jersey of a RIVAL team in his own division.

He would have been much safer wearing a Brees jersey than Peytons IMHO.

I'd assume he chose Peyton because he was there with Dungy.

i kind of feel bad for fisher, he seems like he is a really good guy, and he has always been a hell of a coach for the most part.

it'll be interesting to see where he gets picked up

He must want to get fired. There's no way he could have thought that was a good idea.

At 0-6 after the way they started last year, you have to laugh to keep from crying.

Also he shouldn't have done it after a 59-0 arse kicking

im not offended, but if i were a Titans fan, and especially if i were a player, i wouldnt be happy about it.

Not in the middle of the season when your team is 0-6. In the offseason? Yes, maybe it would be more well recepted.

and when you say "i wanted to feel like a winner"???

thats a slap in the face to his players. Regardless of how bad things are, you dont say something like that. You've pretty much lost your team already, how can something like this help the team morale?

"hey, our coach thinks we are a bunch of losers"

and why does he try and play it off because it was "for charity"??

who gives a shite what it was for, he still did it, and it was in bad taste
