Michigan was one of the only uniforms Adidas didn't catastrophically frick up. That said, I'm glad they're getting out from under Adidas before the introduce some type of disgusting changes and desecrate another classic. What they did to UCLA is criminal. Notre Dame was absolutely thrilled when their contract ended and they got to move to Under Armor.

We'll get used to the Jumpman logo. It looks weird now but we'll get used to it. frick Adidas.

Very cool gig. He started on custom motorcycle schemes and Nike approached with the helmet offer. Actually turned down some in the beginning because he didn't know if he had the capacity and they landed with a competitor. He handles a lot of the big schools and everything Oregon (Baseball, softball, lacrosse, etc.) Handled the whole process for Tennessee's Nike conversion.

I am not digging the logo but recruits for some reason are huge on this.

While I fully understand that this slogan is for purposes of marketing the football team, not necessarily the university, how can one of America's better public universities not feel a little bit of shame in this promotion.

Because they're MICHIGAN MEN.

This deliberate gramatically incorrect slogan brought to you a school whose graduates think they are better than you because they went there and you didn't.

know the guy responsible for the helmet schemes. He has done Oregon, Tennessee, Michigan State, and a few others. He is also a big time Michigan fan

Must be a transplant then cause the guy lives in Oregon if my memory is correct.

Gotta make sure and gay it up so that you can recruit better. Can't let the school to the south out-gay you.

Interesting, definitely not an Oregon guy. You may know somebody who helps conceptualize the helmets, but all the painting is handled outside the state.

I visited the shop about a month before the start of the season. He was wrapping up the process for both the Michigan St and Oregon helmets for week 2. I saw them before anyone else and couldn't say anything. 144 helmets for each team.

The coolest part of the Michigan St v Oregon helmets is that there were no decals/stickers used on those helmets. It was multiple layers of paint where they masked off the designs and painted over.

Tennessee's branding looks 100x better under Nike than it did under Adidas. Adidas Sports Licensing department is trash.

The away jerseys should have blue TV numbers instead of yellow. Other than that, as long they didn't screw up the helmets the unis look okay to me.

Huh, read a story about a painter in Oregon. I'll see if I can find a link.
