Washington at 14 is a bit high. I know about the hype, but they have a ton to prove this season

Our starting 11 on each side of the ball are good enough of a team to be ranked in the T25. We have no depth though.

I see us at 8-4 or 7-5 if injuries pile up this season. It's after this season though is when we will feel the affects of this past offseason.

Is Groh there for a while? Or is he just a placeholder? I'd think they'd want to target Dino Babers in the offseason

I hate them with a passion but if they can have chemistry with the two quarterbacks they're going to be a very good football team.

They will be a decent team and will lose three games. Overhyped.

All 10 of the top teams play at least one other team in the top 10 it definitely won't look like this in December.

at least every #25 team listed here has to play 1 or more teams listed in the top 25.

Alabama/LSU
Clemson/FSU
Oklahoma/OSU
FSU/Clemson
LSU/Alabama
OSU/Oklahoma and Michigan
Michigan/OSU
Stanford (do they play Norte dame)
Tennessee/Norte dame
Norte dame/Tennessee

The college playoff has definitely helped as far as the power 5 conference teams playing teams from other power 5 conferences. It will be more evident in the up coming years as deals put in place to play non power 5 conference teams years ago final end and teams are forced to make adjustments to future schedules.

Omg YES!!

ETA: And it is impossible to rank Alabama too high in preseason polls at this point in the Saban era. They've won 4 of the last 7 NCs you goober. And they were very close to 2 more.

with the qbs that ND has, I'd rank them right where they are.

I don't know where else I'd put bama but 1 with how they've shown they can insert a QB in and have success still. benefit of doubt, they've at least earned that much.

If Hurts starts, 15-0 NC.

If Bateman starts, 0-12.

Do the right thing, Saban.
