I'm not sure if you can bet that way in Vegas though

You would get SA at +6-7 both games

Ray Allen was never shooting as bad as Battier, and he is one of the, if not the greatest 3 point shooter in NBA history. Not to mention a 90% FT shooter in close games is a huge asset.

Plus, who's to say Battier doesn't find his stroke like Allen did if given the minutes?

If you want to talk about Spo making good adjustments, talk about the defensive adjustments made against the Pacers/Hibbert

Miami overall is an older team... With a injured Wade, and a erratic Bosh

Sure they are older if we are talking about average age, but if we're talking about core players and the players who will decide the outcome of this series, San Antonio is much older.

Who is the "core" of Miami? James is the only one who obviously belongs in there.

Agreed.

Miami just needs to do a better job of defending the 3-point line. It seems like every time Miami starts gaining momentum, SA makes a big 3 and Miami was too slow or out of position to defend it.

Game 2 says hello

The Heat are more than LeBron. The supporting players are playing well now.

Ok, if that's your metric to determine "core." Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green have gotten FAR more minutes than Manu

Miami's "core" - and age:
James - 28
Wade - 31
Bosh - 29
Chalmers - 27

Avg: 28.75

San Antonio:
Duncan - 37
Parker - 31
Leonard - 21
Green - 25

Avg. 28.5

Nope, SA's core is still younger than Miami's

That wasn't my point. My point was who is the core?

Spurs are a two man show. Duncan is a grandfather brah.

Danny green could step up but that is unsure.

They are old and play old.

If Miami loses tonight their fine. Theoretically the Heat just need one of the next two. That makes it a best of three series with the Heat having both 6 and 7 at home. If the Spurs lose tonight, that means they have to beat the Heat 3 out of 4 to win it. Not gonna happen.

Sure if you look at averages that are skewed in this case.

What players on each team will have the most impact on this series and their respective teams and what are their ages?

I think the Heat HAVE to win 2/3 in SA. Because I don't think Pop and the Spurs lose two straight close-out games regardless of where they are played

But I'm convinced after the 1st 2 games that this series is going 7.

how did the first two games convince you of this?

Miami led all of game one until an awful turnover prone 4th Qtr.

Miami then proceeded to dominate game 2.

Miami has only lost ONE Qtr this series out of the 8.

James - 28

Parker - 31
