yeah the driving range had no grass btwn the ropes, the tee boxes were all beat up and looked kinda like the driving range, the sand was rock and I mean rock hard, and the greens were as bad as I've ever seen them..how they charge $50 with a straight face to play there is beyond me

Best course in BR is Baton Rouge CC, but I don't have a chance to play that when I want, so I guess it's Santa Maria.
If we are talking surrounding area, then it's probably Carter or Beaver. The layout at The Bluffs kills me due to my normal shot shape.

That rumor is very correct. Except for the remains of a few trees that the storm got, the course is looking real nice.
