Keep telling yourself its cool and they are a good team. They fricking suck. No way you lose that game. Any other franchise including the browns would have finished that game off
You need to take a long break. I've been drinking all day and I even I have a little perspective.

Panthers are only 2.5 games back.

Yeah, pretty much. That's today's NFL, Folks.

It is more of a statement on the NFC South than on the Panthers.
...but if we are going to talk about the Panthers, they started 3-8-1 in 2014 (with losses to the Saints and Falcons) and still won the division.

See, you and gatorhater or what ever his name is are UGA fans. You are use to thinking like this. I know its hard to understand but it is not suppose to be like this. You have to expect more at some point
This entire franchise if shite and always has been.

its unreal... Up 17 to the Chargers at home. Lose on a terrible call by the head coach in overtime that any high school coach knew was the wrong call.
Plus, why the hell are you sneaking Matt fricking Ryan on 3rd and short when you are paying backs to do that job

And what were you saying two weeks ago when we dismantled the Broncos? This is a good team and a talented team. The stats back me up on that. There were a couple crucial plays in this game that turned it. I don't think this one loss is indicative of the entire season or the franchise. That's fricking asinine.

I can get the decision to go for it if you win with a FG, but WTF - even if you get it there you still have to go another 45 yards for a TD.
You don't get it, all SD needs is 10 yards and it's over.
Really really really dumb decision, and the call to run it with your best RB out is even dumber.
This sounds close to a coin flip deal, but they probably made the correct decision, based on what you are saying. Punting in NFL OT is asinine almost across the board.

Damn, I keep getting redirected today. Anyone else having this problem?

The Falcons not punting there didn't matter, their defense would have let the Chargers march down the field. The only difference is the loss came faster.
Oh, and Lanier, your mistake was rooting for ANY Georgia sports team.

Not a mistake I like making. I swear, they are in the worse division in NFL history. The other 3 teams in that division could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag and they will find a way to frick it up. You just wait and see.
Falcons gonna falcon.

What I don't understand is why these teams sit there and get a sizeable lead and then drop back into what basically amounts to prevent defense. Allowing the offense to nickel and dime their way down the field, which in I'd say 90% of drives end in points. Sure it takes time off the clock, but a couple of things happen with this defensive mind frame:
A.) Your defense still has to act like they care, and they stay on the field for anywhere between 4-8 minutes.
B.) Your offense gets the ball and does nothing more than simply run the ball on 3 downs taking up all of maybe two minutes.
C.) So now you have your defense back out there again looking to just bend but not break and not allowing the big play.. So they are out there for an extended time which makes them even more tired.
Now all of a sudden, after two possessions for each team, your offense has to throw the ball to move the chains but comes up limp dicking it and goes 3 and out on 3 incomplete passes. Your defense is extremely gassed, and the opposition has had two previous scoring drives and a ton of confidence. Who do you think wins in that scenario 9 times out of 10?
That is exactly what happened to Atlanta yesterday. They got way too comfortable with the lead and went into the bend but don't break defense and it came back to bite them on the arse hard. If we never run some variation of prevent defense with a lead ever again, it would still be too soon.
