Fed fans: please stop with this exercise.

Or do this. Find out what their record is outdoors. Report back.

Tell me who has more weeks number 1 and titles, and report back. Which once again, is the whole point

Yeah, that's why his record against the top ten is the best in history.
So he should have more titles and weeks number 1 right? Oh wait, tennis is about beating EVERYBODY IN THE DRAW

My point was, you can't write off Rafa yet in this given that he is almost five years younger. He may be done, but he also may have four majors left in him. You don't know.

I think age has next to nothing to do with the H2H. Nadal was beating him every step of the way.

Jesus, I am finally turning on Fedtards even though I used to consider myself one.

Oh right, Nadal never does that. My mistake.

Because as a high level tennis player we dont give a flying who haw if Fed is 0-25 vs Barney the dinosaur. The object in tennis is to win tournaments. And that is what Fed has been the best at

So indoor doesn't count. Nice argument. Let's be arbitrary. Clay doesn't count.

Rafa is great, but it's hard to go against Federer. Rafa never dominated like Federer did. 7 straight Wimbeldon finals winning 6 of them (5 in a row), 6 straight US open finals winning the first 5 in a row and also won 4 out of 7 Australian opens. I know he struggled with the French only winning one, but he made the finals 5 times in 6 years. No one has ever had a run like that and it could be a while before we see it again.

The stats I'll never be able to get over are

Consecutive Grand Slam semi-final appearances (23)
Consecutive Grand Slam quarter-final appearances (36)

That's incredible. So for almost 6 years straight he was a lock to get into the semifinals and a near lock to get into the finals.

It counts. And Roger has like half of his wins against Rafa in a single event. That's good info to know.

Rafa: 66 titles, 14 grand slams

Fed 86 titles, 17 grand slams

What the hell is there even a discussion about? The point of tennis is to win the tournament

Novak is starting to put up sick numbers just like those. Too bad he lost that RG final because this could have been a GOAT year and get him right near that top five all time.

Novak is going to end up with about 12-14 grand slam titles. He will certainly be up there

His clay court weakness hinders his GOAT claim.
