@BlackBlueReview: Cam Newton on 'deflategate' and Marshawn Lynch vs. the media LINK
Link includes interviews from CNBC, The Dan Patrick Show, and Rich Eisen's show. Cam Newton has really grown and matured since entering the league in 2011. He is the future of the NFL. Anyone who says otherwise is a hater.

Not a homer comment.

With Breezus about ready to be put out to pasture I can understand Saints fans reluctance to ponder the future

I'm waiting for Carolina to get him some decent weapons & for Shula to finally get fired.

I was expecting this to say "No message"

With Cam being an Auburn grad I can understand Auburn fans claiming Newton to be the "future" of the NFL.

Luck and Wilson are the future. Cam doesn't have jack shite on either.

Saints fan.
I don't think that Cam will end up being anything great, and I think he'll spend most of his career being frustrated at not being better than he is, but there's a good chance that Carolina runs the South for the next five years. New Orleans has a rough patch ahead. Atlanta is a constant choke. Tampa Bay has never had their shite together for more than a couple years in a row.

This should actually be titled "NO Evidence of Cam Newton's Growth & Maturity". If you think he is mature at all in any way you are a certified idiot.

Eh. I think this season was more of an anomaly for the Saints to be honest. They'll be back in the mix next season, and it's probably a good thing they were humbled. Coaches fired, and players having to take responsibility for how underwhelming they were. Get a CB2, LB help and interior O line (give Brees time and he will kill any team). Injuries also played a factor, but they were just lost as a team this season.
Carolina has a very stout defense, but they lack fire power. I do not believe in Newton carrying a team. I think they'll be in the mix for the NFC south because of having a defense that can keep things close. However, Newton is only a slightly above average quarterback. Auburn Panther fans can say what they want, but the second things start going bad Newton pouts and shows lack of leadership.
Atlanta will be fine depending on how the coaching situation works out. Tons of talent on offense, Matt Ryan is actually a really good quarterback. They could use help on their D, and a RB. If Quinn is in fact their next coach, he's shown what he can do creating a defense. That could be a home run hire for them unfortunately.
Tampa... I feel like every year we think they'll have a breakout season they need a franchise quarterback, but that take a bit of luck. It's not like they are void of talent on that team though.

He needs to fix his shoulder, and then learn to either slide or have an easier throwing motion.
