my thing is, why is the soccer board anal about this but the other boards don't seem to care?

because many soccer events they are talking about don't happen in the US...thus it's understood that people may have to watch it recorded due to time differences.

But a real sports spoiler is like what happened to me yesterday. Went to nola.com to check out some NEWS, non-sports and they've got the winner of Wimbledon splashed all over the front page. 2 hours before the ABC broadcast

When I DVR an event or game I don't log into anything until I watch it, even FB will spoil things.

I'm with you man. It's like every time I watch Sports center or log onto ESPN, I'm like WTF? How about saying spoiler alert before you tell me the outcome so I have the option of looking away or something.

It's ridonkulous.
