ESPN reporter Holly Rowe, who has primarily covered college football and college basketball for the network, will again have surgery Tuesday after a second tumor was found in her chest, it was announced. "I wanted to share some personal news as I face a new challenge ahead," Rowe said Tuesday in a statement. "In May, I had a tumor in my chest removed and I have recently learned that there is a new tumor, which needs to be removed via surgery today. In the coming days, I will know more about what potential additional steps I may take to address this situation. "... I know I can conquer anything with prayer, love, positive energy and the support of good people behind me, and I am thankful for my son and amazing family. I hope to be back at work soon doing what gives me so much joy in life."

Best of luck to her. Having already had surgery one, and having to have it again so soon doesn't sound good. I hope they are able to remove it successfully and she makes a full recovery.

Well is it a tumor or cancer? A tumor isnt necessarily malignant.

They're putting her into surgery immediately to remove it so what does that tell you?

I like Holly, she's been in the business since 1995 according to wiki. Best wishes to her.

Love Holly Rowe. She's a sweet heart. Got to meet her at a basketball game years ago. She was excellent at her job, and was very cool with the students.

quote:Tumors are benign or malignant. Only the malignant ones are "cancer". Nothing in the article said it was cancer. Benign tumors are often removed as soon as possible as well, to prevent progression to malignancy, so the fact that they are removing it quickly doesn't indicate cancer either.
What type of idiot are you cosmo.

Best wishes to Holly, probably my favorite sideline reporter at the network. Never forget when she had to do that interview from a top of the scorers table after a K-State court storming.
