Boy they are going all out for this one. Gameday already announced they'll be there. Now they'll feature the MegaCast, normally reserved for National Title games. And looks like 'Ol Les will be feat as a guest analyst. he'll be on the All 22 Film Room with Mark Helfrich and Gene Chizik.

quote:

The main broadcast will be on ESPN with Dave Flemming calling play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit providing analysis and Laura Rutledge as the sideline reporter. Another of the broadcasts will be Coaches Film Room on ESPNews, which will feature the network debut of Les Miles (who’s doing TV after all), along with fellow former coaches Mack Brown, Gene Chizik and Mark Helfrich. That broadcast will be hosted by Tom Luginbill and Greg McElroy.

MegaCast will also include a homers’ broadcast on ESPNU. Currently, Dan Dakich is set as the analyst for the Indiana side, paired with play-by-play man Joe Tessitore. The Ohio State homer analyst has yet to be named, but he will be partnered with Adnan Virk calling play-by-play.

Idk, honestly I'm thinking it's the First game of the year, a B1G game on a Thursday, and Ohio State who'll probably be #2 in the AP poll

I mean, it is pretty much the only "good" game on Thursday night this year. FIU-UCF will be a good start at 5. ULM-Memphis should be decent. And then there's Sark after Dark with NM State-AZ State. But a BIG conference game to start the year, might as well do this.

This. I fricking hate this toolbag. Funny they'd put him together with Les Miles. Dakich went on a ten minute tear on how corrupt Les Miles was a few years ago.

I'm shocked Les doesn't have a major HC job by now. He must not want one.

They'll be on separate broadcast. Les is on the Film Room with the coaches

Well, I know what I'll be watching. I hope Les recommends at least 8 fake punts.

Will he be calling every pass play "too risky, IMO"?

It's gonna be interesting as hell watching Les break down a game as it's happening Live. Absolutely fascinating imo

It's worth recording just to listen to and try to decypher what Miles says.

Seems pretty forced. Why would they do this for such a shite football game?

It's a bit much, even for the national championship game. This is overkill for a B1G beatdown, but whatever. More CF coverage is always a good thing. The Voices thing with try-hard Beadle and oddballs like Bill Walton is always a trainwreck.

Don't get me wrong..

I'm absolutely going to tune in at least a little bit because I love Les Miles. But dammit ESPN, why this game?
