The Clippers would be where they are with Rondo or any number of PG's ranked below him....

Have you watched the Mavs once this year? To say Rondo even belongs in the same context as CP3 is comical. I HATE CP3, but he is a shut down defender and a great distributor of the ball. To say otherwise is wrong.

Dragic is top 10 and arguably top 5.

How great is it MCW isn't even on the list? Hinkie absolutely stole that Lakers' pick for him.

Didn't Williams get benched in favor of Jack this season?

The Deron Williams fall from grace has been unbelievable.

It really has. It was him and cp3 at the top for a few years

Laziness and constantly being out-of-shape has been his downfall

I know its not the popular opinion, but I'd still take CP3 over Curry and Westbrook. He's more of a true point guard, can defend as good as anyone, extremely smart and efficient, good leader, can take over games.

I do agree he flops and whines too much.

I would just rank guards instead of saying PGs when they make these list. Kind of an arbitrary way of eliminating certain guys and many of them aren't much different than some that would be classified as SGs.

I like Kyrie more this season though then I did in the past because he has picked it up defensively this year.
Yep.

Early in the season I said he wasn't a top 10 PG and took some flack, but at the time I still stand by it. Maybe I'm just biased towards my opinion lol. But I truly don't think he was top 10 at that time.

Since then, he has really picked it up defensively, he had an insane stretch of guys shooting horribly against him, some good ones too.

He's worthy of top 5 ish status now.

can he? I like CP3, but when will he be held accountable for a huge lack of playoff success? Paul is s guy who gets all the credit for being a superstar, but is never held accountable for failures-- it's ALWAYS someone else's fault

He had that final minute choke against OKC, but other than that, check his playoff numbers, 1 or 2 meh seasons, and a whole lot of ridiculous numbers. Kinda hard to fault a guy putting up crazy numbers but his team losing.

can he?
if you have to ask that question...

I go:

1. Curry
2. CP3
3. Russ

Before this season it would have been:

1. CP3
2. Russ
3. Steph

Steph is like +832 when he is on the court this season

If you just ranked guards, 15 of the top 20 would probably be PGs.
