Type in "espn auction" on twitter. Quite a few people outraged, I think Shaun King is hyperventilating.

That people where always going to take this out of context and was never a good idea to begin with?

Then they are retarded. White people are in the NFL as well. How much did they bid for Jordy Nelson or Gronk or Mccaffrey or Brady?

I don't lean right or left, both sides annoy the ever living shite out of me. But this would be complaining just to complain, and it's such a ridiculous reach,

it was objectively not an awesome look. i think most people understand the context that it was put in. it wasnt racially motivated, that it was all in the context of auction style drafting, and that there was nothing malicious about it. i can just see why some people who may not understand the context as well as others can flip out above it. especially when we are in a time where people compete to be more upset about stuff with others

Not a single soul in America was truly offended by this. It is 100% fake outrage

People just can't be walking on eggshells all the time trying to think of every angle possible.
A group of people will always be offended by something.

Was it not funny? I mean, if Caliendo was involved it probably wasn't. But why else would it be a bad idea?

At what point can we start calling out the people that are offended at nonsense? Being offended by something as benign as a fantasy football draft says way more about the offended party than the people that produced the sketch. And it says they're fricking dumb. And at some point, it needs to be okay to tell them that.

and i agree that people cant be waling on eggshells when it comes to offending people. i do believe that this goes a little further down the line though on the "not a good idea" spectrum

I really have to explain why a bunch of white guys bidding on a black person is not the best look to have in such a divisive period of American history?

Yes. I don't think a rational person even considers it that way.

Then you rightly ridicule them for being dumbasses, oversensitive weenies, or both. You do not change what you are doing because these idiots feign offense.

In ESPNs projected fantasy scoring list, 9 out of the top 20 are honkies.

There is no way for this rationally to be taken as a negative sketch. And the majority should not have to cater for the irrational few.

Nobody is outraged. Many will pretend to be outraged.

It's amazing in this day and age that people just accept opinions offered on social media sites at face value. It's as if they have never experienced trolling before.
