Im always shocked at the amount of people that back up big corporations so adamantly vs free thought. Its scary how many people buy into what they want you to think.but yet people defending the company will think they are being smart and unique

Hopefully Fox Sports picks up Schilling.

I have no doubt he'll find a gig. He'll claim to be the victim of people who always claim to be the victim and translate that into something.
Which is unfortunate for all of us, because all beliefs aside, he's a truly terrible sportscaster.

I'm married, but I don't have a daughter (or any kids for that matter), so maybe I shouldn't opine here.
But I just hate the notion that all men are assumed to be predators or perverts (especially hearing this from other men). I also hate the assumption that women can't equally be POS pervs. For example, we never hear people say "what if your young son was in a bathroom with an adult woman".
It just seems like people always play the "what if your daughter..." card. But like I said, maybe I feel that way since I don't have any kids.

ESPN is a private company and they can fire him if they want over this. If you don't like it then don't watch ESPN.

If he had posted the same picture and condemned those who opposed transgenders sharing bathrooms with kids, he'd be an ESPN hero.
Now, as for even treatment...Harold Reynolds and Sean Salisbury were fired for 'sexual misconduct', while Mike Terico is still around, and he's allegedly a serial offender. Why? Because the other two were easily replaceable ex-jocks, while Terico is their top football/basketball play-by-play guy.

I agree. I hate the OT threads about a teacher fricking a 14 year old and everyone goes I wish I had that teacher blah blah.

Assuming this is true. What's the lesson here. Don't continue to be insubordinate to your employer or you'll get fired. Otherwise known as the simplest rule of being an employee.

I wonder if Chick-Fil-A will fire a cashier who takes to Twitter asking for some extra hours on Sunday?

just be practical and not make strawman arguments that are embarrassing to your company.
Russillo does it all the time. He called out the women's national team for the equal pay stuff.

This. If Schilling would have liked a post about black lives matter or would have shown support for the tranny movement, this wouldn't be an issue.
Also, I hope Schilling lands on his feet. What he said is right and it's always nice to see someone have some balls every once in awhile.

Oh, but it's OK to show two homosexuals shoving cake down each other's throat on draft day and make out with each other right? The double standard is ridiculous. Bruce Jenner getting a fricking ESPY?!
ESPN never misses an opportunity to shove PC down our fricking throats, but the minute one of their employees has a difference of opinion they are cut loose. That is ESPN's right, just as it's my choice to not watch ESPN aside from actual games, but the hypocrisy is incredible.

how in the world is that a double standard?
If anything it shows ESPN is consistent

Yeah, I'm not seeing the double standard.

It's OK to go way over the line on political and social issues, as long as it's only on one side of the political spectrum.

Did they show any other 6th round draft picks shoving cake down their S.O.'s throat and start making out?
