ESPN clickbait of the day (biggest draft bust)

I'm not posting the link because screw ESPN and their clickwhoring ways. I'll give you 1 guess what 95% of the comments and shares pertain to.
They aren't even trying to pretend anymore. It's just like when John Clayton left Brees off his little list. Contrived controversy has ruined sports media.

Uh...is this real life?
half a season of Bo was better than a full season of most backs for a Raider fan.
ETA: I guess they are saying Tampa Bay is the bust for drafting him.

Under the pretenses of the Buccaneers drafting Bo #1 overall and him never playing a single down for them or even signing with them, Id say that's one of the most wasted draft picks of all time.
It's their own fault though, they knew ahead of the draft that Bo would never play for them and they picked him anyway.

Still stupid for putting him on a list of biggest draft busts instead of worst draft picks.

I think it's listing Bo because of him never even playing for the bucs after being drafted by them. Due to them costing him his last year of eligibility in baseball at auburn if memory serves me correctly. Still dumb to put him on there though.

The Saints biggest draft bust better be Russell Erxleben

By that criteria I'd say 2X Super Bowl champions Eli Manning and John Elway are the biggest draft busts in history.
This is just ESPN being ESPN by obviously putting out something controversial for clicks and comments. They're not even transparent anymore.

At least the Colts got a 1st round pick as terrible as the deal was for them.
The Bucs got jack squat. They had the #1 pick in the draft and they got nothing...nada...
So in essence, the biggest bust in NFL history is the #1 pick that was no player at all.
Bo just went back into the draft the next year.

Ummmm no.
The Chargers got Phillip Rivers who is a better QB than Eli.
The Colts got a 7 time Pro Bowl, 3 time All-Pro LT, a backup QB, and a 1st round
Bucs got back shite because Bo never signed with him and waited for their rights on him to run out.

Still holding that grudge, Bo?

It's really hard to tell whether they are desperate for clicks or desperately trying to deliberately lose subscribers.

The Buccaneers purposely took away Bo's senior year of baseball, which is his true passion, in hopes of forcing him into signing with them.
I'd say that's a grudge worth holding.

Hell no! There are a few others way worse than him. But Erxleben is in a class by himself.
The Saints drafted him (a kicker) with 11th pick, he made a total of 4 field goals (out of 8) in his career. He also managed to throw a pick 6, in his first game to lose the game.
In his career 5 year with the Saints, he scored 19 points and gave up 8.
A year later the signed this guy to replace hm

As bad as Erxleben was he isn't the biggest bust for the Saints. That would be Shawn Knight.

Bo fricked them over, but good.

No, Hugh Culverhouse fricked the Bucs over.

think about what we gave up to move up in 1999 for Ricky...
we were 6-10 in 1998 so we gave up a lot to move up not that much... the next few seasons with Haslett we were maybe a defender or two away with a good to great offense (sounds familiar)
Ricky had a 1,000 yard season for us but he needed to be Ladainian Tomlinson and AP combined for that trade to be worth it
