ESPN has done a tremendous job covering this story. I will gladly shite on them when I get the chance, but they have been on point with this.

Sadly the network (Fox) that won the World Cup rights from ESPN continues to a shitty job

I assume so. Their FIFA coverage has been top notch for a while now. Bob Ley being the key guy guiding it is a big reason why. He is terrific.

I wonder how much money Blatter made off that bribe from Fox.

No one thinks that it was a coincidence that once they announced the 2022 World Cup was being moved to later in the year that Fox was suddenly awarded the 2026 WC out of nowhere. The other networks were furious.

ESPN believes there is some sort of corruption regarding the tv rights that Fox somehow won for the 2018, 2022, and 2026 World Cups. So they're going to do everything they can to destroy FIFA.

Shame ESPN won't have the next three World Cups. They really love the sport.

ESPN actually does a good job with the World Cup. I really don't know how Fox is going to be able to do it. It is really a head scratcher.

the FS1 and NBCSN coverage of this has been embarrassingly poor.
