Ohio State winning by 95 tonight was unexpected and didn't hurt them either.

It was a classy move to keep it under 100.

I know it's been said like 100 times but the NCAA doesn't allow the Big 12 to have a title game.

They didn't tell the Big 12 they couldn't add two more teams. The Big 12 also went all in this week when they were asked if they would claim Baylor as the Conference Champions because of the Head to Head tiebreaker and the conference said no. They made a power play to try to get two teams in and now they are going to get 0.

How? How can you say that OSU belongs in over Baylor and TCU for certain?

Adding two teams is not an option for the Big 12 so they are unable to have a CCG. If the NCAA would let them have one with 10 teams they would have one.

He botched this so hard.

Bingo. Ohio State is a MUCH different team than they were then.

Because they only have 10 teams, and since adding teams is not an option, they can't have a CCG, and it's gonna frick them over in about 12 hours.

The last 7 games osu has had 4 close ones. Tcu has had 2 close games against better opponents. Tcu whipped Minnesota while osu struggled

Since when is the Big 12 not allowed to have 12 teams? Did the NCAA put in place a rule after they dropped down to 10 teams that they could not add more?

The Big 12 CHOOSES not to have 12 teams, their choice. I am sorry it is going to make a difference tomorrow I really am, but they brought this on themselves.

Yeah ESPN is pretty terrible right now.

And ESPN has almost 100% influence on the playoff because they basically crafted the thing and pays all the TV money.

And I think the whole thing stinks. I would much rather see Baylor or TCU compete in this playoff over tOSU. I just think the committee likes TCU better than Baylor despite the H2H and now tOSU just gave them an out.

So they should have changed the rules mid-season? Derp.

And I started a thread about it, but if it's Texas and OU instead of TCU And Baylor, no one is talking about Ohio State as a realistic option over them.
