The meaning of the words "most valuable player" basically has no bearing on the award the NFL hands out.

If you really want it to mean what it means, Derek Carr has just a good case to be MVP as Ryan.

It's almost like a quarterbacks' production and his "weapons" production are necessarily going to correlate.

It's a silly talking point.

only problem is, the Falcon secondary is fricking horrendous. They couldn't cover a fat kid.

Packer WR will be open all day.

I didn't pick a side, but to think Atlanta defense can even remotely stop Rodgers is laughable.

Falcons better hope Rodgers is as sick as they say he is. They along with Steelers are fighting a flu bug in their locker room.

The only defense the Falcons are remotely good at is press man. And they often don't start in it.

Press man is risky though against Rodgers, but not his wide receivers. His WRs, even when healthy can't beat press man. New York showcased this to start that game, but their wideouts took a stupid trip to Miami and so their defense wore down.

Aaron Rodgers inside a dome could put up 40/41 points. The Falcons should put up 30/35 points.

So the Falcons D is going to have to create turnovers for ATL to win today.

Eta: I expect the Falcons D to get 2 big TOs and several sacks to keep the game close.

Falcons 35 - GB 30

It is pretty sad that Rodgers will probably never a real weapon in his career. Imagine Rodgers with a Gronk or Julio.
