Larry is the best poster since Rex.

I recall during Lacys time certain fans were calling him overrated and that he benefited by running behind that great Oline. While he did benefit, you could tell he was a great back. What he has over Gurley is that he stays healthy.
He's not a top 5 RB in the NFL and he never will be.

You're just too anti-Bama or don't know anything about Pro Football (heck, even football in general) if you say that.
Sheesh.

He wasn't even the best RB in that game!

Murray is definitely one of the best and I'd take him over Lacy. However, Lacy is top 5-6 in the league in my opinion.
I remember Saban always made a point of bringing up Lacy's name when Ingram and Richardson were carrying the load. He always felt Eddie was deserving of more carries and more recognition - I think he had more positives to say about him that any other runner I can remember in the Saban years. He thought very highly of him.

makes sense to compare him to a guy that rushed for over 1000 yds for like 11 yrs in a row he's obviously earned it
i dont think any rb will even get the chance to come close to emmitt's career they just arent valued like that anymore

I think you must be one of those guys that needs downvotes to survive. Like heroin.
I helped you get your fix once again.

Imagine Barry Sanders behind Emmitt's OL. Yikes.

The all time rushing record would be so far out of reach that for anyone to have a chance to even get near it, either RBs would have to somehow start having 15-20+ year careers, or we'd have to lengthen the season to 24-25 regular season games.

lol @ u, this thread and 61 downvotes. you imbecile

Eddie Lacy is one of the better running backs in the NFL. His first two years in the NFL have seen him go over 1,000 yards in each season. He had over 100 yards against Dallas today. That's pretty good when you consider that the man he lines up behind is currently the most prolific QB in the league.

This has easily been some of the best bait you've ever used. LSU & Auburn fans tripping all over themselves to get in here and tell you how wrong you are. Thanks for the laughs Larry.
