If you're going to make shite up, go for broke:

Eddie Lacy is the greatest football player at any position in the history of the game.

It appears that a few people don't agree with Larrys opinion.

I'd take their running back over him for starters

The purple kid beater

Reggie bush

Etc

LSU fans always dogged him but we knew he was a beast.

probably because he can't read.

also he isn't even a top 5 NFL running back now.

Already. And the gap will get will get wider. Gurley and Yeldon will be better in time also.

On a side note, I know lacyhas always been a pretty big back but has he always had that gut? Looks like he's gained more weight

Yeldon is too slow to the LOS for the NFL Game. Gurley has a chance if he recovers from his injury.

Cowboys are playing a deep she'll so any running back could run today

Agree that Yeldon isn't going to be anything special in the NFL, but he'll be alright.

However, unless that ACL makes Gurley's leg fall off, it's a safe bet that he'll surpass Lacy.

One other thing, why we using Smith as the one we go back to? A top 5-10 all-time NFL RB putting up huge stats in a long career behind the best OL of all time seems an odd choice.

Another side note, Richardson is a healthy scratch for the Colts today.

I recall during Lacys time certain fans were calling him overrated and that he benefited by running behind that great Oline. While he did benefit, you could tell he was a great back. What he has over Gurley is that he stays healthy.
