I don't know how many players they're returning next year, but they're pretty legit.

ECU is legit. I'd like to see them in the Big 12

Not surprising.

ECU is usually a pretty solid football school for North Carolina.

If they could get into a real conference they could be a solid team year in and year out.

I've been impressed with what I've seen. Played S. Carolina close beat VA Tech and taking it to N. Carolina. And for only 50,000, they're stadium sounds loud

Think Texas Tech regrets hiring Tommy Tuberville instead of keeping Ruffin McNeill?

Not taking the interim tag off McNeill was even stupider (in retrospect) than allowing Craig James to get Mike Leach fired.

ECU is the closest thing to an SEC school in North Carolina.

Never been to ECU but I've heard they have the hottest babes at a NC school due to it's a nursing & teaching school.

If it were attached to a big 5 it wouldn't be hard to get recruits to go there.

I was about to make a thread about how ECU would finish in the ACC.

I think they're the best team in the state of NC, I don't think GT could keep up with the scoring, they've already beaten VT, I think they'd do well vs Syracuse and Pitt.

I think they could hang around against Clemson in the way they did against us, same goes for Miami and Louisville.

I think they could certainly finish in the top 7, potentially even higher.

A lot of teams will take a long hard look at Ruffin McNeill after this year. But he's actually an ECU alum, so you never know. But half the B1G might be looking for coaches in January.

Shane Carden and Justin Hardy are the best QB/WR combo in college football. Both are seniors this year.

I'll agree with this. ECU, NC State, then UNC. Partially it's because the other schools are much more concerned with academics.

Poor academics and rampant STDs? Pretty much.
