Early Suprises Out West: Are Rockies and DBacks Legit?

Rockies coming off a sweep of the Giants are 13-6 while leading the division.
While the DBacks are 12-8 and 2nd in the West.
Sustainable or nah?

If Senzatela and Freeman can keep pitching like this, they are going to be brutal to face in the playoffs.

I'm from New Orleans so never was attached to a baseball team, however,these are my two favorite teams (Orioles get some love as well) so its weird which one to pull for.

I say yes to the Rockies-
Dahl and Desmond are on the DL and they have a couple nice starters.
Great bullpen too

People were on the Rockies as possible wild card team. Their offense is loaded, and Desmond hasn't even played a game yet. Bullpen is upgraded too. Jon Gray has been banged up, but im not sure I trust their rotation
Dbacks have a shot if their rotation reaches its full potential. Shelby Miller, Walker, Corbin, and Ray have all flashed but haven't been consistent. That bullpen is bad though. Pollock and Goldy are two MVP candidate type guys, and the rest of that O isn't bad either

Love watching the Rockies play. They're a fun group of guys to watch. Arenado is my favorite baseball player behind Anthony Rizzo

I think the Rockies will be in the mix for a wild card spot and Arizona will fade back and finish around 500

I believe Diamond backs have been the cutesy pick for mlb media guys for past 2-3 years.
Especially with their lineup, but their issues will be how their SP and bullpen could hold up.

Rockies legit AF great lineup.
Dbacks not legit AF their lineup is impotent and too middle-heavy, Greinke not a legit ace.

This year's team is still better. Just like I think the Astros are better this year than they were in '05.

and yea, the rockies may be a wild card team this year but the dodgers are going to figure it out and win the division and the dbacks are going to probably finish in 3rd
