As a Bucs fan, this is the best case scenario....and fyi, if TB drafts Winston I'm done. Not just because he's an idiot that's hard to cheer for, but because I'm 100% convinced the dude won't be any good. Drafting Winston will set the Bucs back another 3-4 yrs, and I have no patience to sit thru that horseshite when it was obvious from the beginning that he would be a bust! I guess I would just jump on the Arizona Cardinals bandwagon at that point.

I would be shocked if Mariota came in and played at a higher level than Foles was before he was injured. If Kelly really is under heat, drafting Mariota may actually buy him another season since rookie QBs rarely play well.

McCoy, Foles, and a 1st and 2nd should get it done. Hopefully it works , Chips future rests on this.

This would be a huge mistake,,, Mariota is not worth that as far as a NFL qb.... He will be mediocre at best no matter where he goes.......

Serious question, if you are Tampa would you take Foles, next years 1st rounder and a 3rd round pick this year for #1?

Best fit for Marcus. Couldn't you trade Foles to a team that needs a QB for a high draft pick? Why wouldn't Foles, this year's Eagles pick, and next year's first round pick get it done for Tampa Bay?

While I agree, Kelly clearly doesnt.

Absolutely. I get a proven quarterback a one or two additional future starters.

Some team is going to get a steal in Foles, wish it was the Saints.

Foles will be a good Qb in this league if he lands with the right team.

Thats why I asked, I could honestly see something like that being really good for both sides.

I just don't see why a coach should be on the hot seat when he's taken a 4-12 team, completely overhauled the offense, and won ten games each of his first two seasons.

Not a chance. You can get so much for the number 1

I dont think hes under the gun yet, but if he misses the playoffs next year his seat will be warming up.

They could get a 2nd rounder instead of a third. If they could get a 2nd rounder I would do it. Foles will be better in the long run than Mariota.

Foles, this year's first + third, and next year's first would be tempting. If you think that Mariota will struggle as a rookie, that could be a top 10 pick next season. I guess it really depends on what TB thinks of Foles.

But can you? Sure in theory its probably worth more, but is someone willing yo give you more than a proven QB, Future 1st rounder and a 3rd rounder? Probably not.

Maybe Zona would do a 1st and 3rd, but say they give you Palmer instead. Would you rather Palmer or Foles?

And what do they think about Winston/MM. I think Winston will be very good in the league if he can stay out of shite.
