Who cares? I don't think it's that disrespectful.

I'd much rather them do the black power fist than kneel.

The Jewish cabal running Disney, et al, won't stand for losing three minutes of advertising much longer.

Why are you so angry about guys you'll never meet holding their fists in the air?

Would you have the same advice (to ignore them) if players started pulling out white hoods with KKK symbols on them during the anthem?

Same difference. "Black power" is virulently racist, as well as treasonous.

NFL ratings are getting crushed right now. The one thing ESPN and the NFL cares about more than their liberal agenda is money

Once they catch on its costing them money, they will put an end to it

Because you can't fix stupid.

50 years ago people were fighting to be able to be treated the same as everyone else and now they want to be treated differently.

Actually, the true purpose of the BLM (and not the one hijacked by morons and attention seekers) is equality and not about being treated differently.

If it wasn't for Fantasy Football and the resulting ratings boom the racist black power fists would end very quickly.

We, as a country, have been doing that for 30 or 40 years now with this nonsense. It isn't working. The shite's about to hit the fan. Hope your kids are in private school already.

who gives a shite. the NFL is meant for our entertainment. watch the game for what it is, and ignore the extracurricular stuff. easier that way.

I find it interesting how the posters of this message board are ready to condemn SJW's for how quick their jimmies are rustled, while constantly finding themselves irritated by trivial matters involving sports.

Last week’s Thursday night (Sept. 8) NFL opener and Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers drew in 25.2 million. However, that total marks an 8% ratings decline compared to 2015 and a 6% drop from 2014. On Sunday afternoon, CBS scored a 10.2 overnight rating for its NFL offerings, a 13% drop from FOX’s numbers (11.7) last year and a 9% drop from 2014 on CBS (11.2). This also marked the lowest overnight season-opening rating in seven years The Steelers vs. Redskins game scored a 9.1 in Nielsen's NLSN +1.25% metered market ratings while the 49ers vs. Rams posted a 7.1, according to Deadline. The early game was down 7% from 2015's MNF opener WHILE GAME 2 FELL A WHOPPING 25% with San Francisco viewers actually outnumbering L.A. That’s not the start the league was hoping to have in the country’s second-largest media market.

Last week’s Sunday Night Football matchup drew in its lowest ratings in seven years (Monday Night Football didn’t fare any better) and last night’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings fell even further. According to Deadline, the primetime portion of last night’s game scored a 13.7/22 in Nielsen’s metered market ratings as the Vikings went on to beat the Packers 17-14. Not only is that down 18% from last year’s ratings, it’s also a 9% dip compared to the SNF opener just last week.

I think the NFL being a shite product has something to do with ratings suffering, as well.
